Five miles from home, she runs out of gas. Unable to reach her best friend Jay on his cell, she calls local sheriff—and current object of lust—Ivan Soto. On the dark and deserted country road, Ivan shocks Roxie by forcing her to assume the position—against her car with her legs spread.
When Jay rushes to Roxie’s to make sure she’s made it home safely, he discovers her in the custody of Sheriff Soto, experiencing a little Rough Justice. Jay wants Roxie to have a good time, but if Ivan wants to frisk her further, he’ll have to learn to share.

5 out 5 whips in the Backseat
Rough Justice by KyAnn Waters is anything but Rough unless your talking about the sex. The story was fun, fast paced and with so much steam I had to wipe the fog from my glasses.
Ivan the hot small town sheriff has had a thing for Roxy for some time and when she calls in to the dispatch needing help he is more then ready to take advantage of the situation.
Jay is the all american guy who all young girls fantasize about and who wouldn’t? He is hot, fun and knows just how to please a girl.
But Roxy is the one to really envy who wouldn’t want to be a sexy stripper with two hot guys both willing and ready to fulfill her every desire.
I loved Rough Justice, again my only complaint is the story was so short I could have read more and more. I would highly recommend this book if your looking for erotic romance, just be sure to have your significant other or a cold shower near by trust me, your going to need it. I give it a 5 out 5 whips in the backseat.

All Lycan’s Eve
by KyAnn Waters
A misdirected email invitation to a Halloween party is an opportunity for Callie Jones to shed her inhibitions and become a liberated woman looking for a night of wild, hot sex.
Kean Phelan, alpha male, expected a night of fun and fornication for himself and the males of his pack. A full moon brings out the animal for a night of rutting, which is why he’s invited “escorts” to entertain the males.
What happens when Kean realizes Callie isn’t one of his escorts…but his mate? Once the pack discovers an outsider amongst them, can he protect her, fight for her, and ultimately claim her?

4.5/5 Whips from the Backseat
Kean is the Alpha of his Lycan pack and is planning on making this Halloween one to remember. Neither Callie or Kean get what they expected but when they come together the sparks do fly. The chemistry was there, the story was fun, and the sex has the legs bouncing and the seat squirming.

Skywalker
by Kiernan Kelly
Publisher: Torquere Press
Robert Prescott Reyes-Waterson is a man with four names, an office-with-a-view, and a superior attitude, particularly when it comes to blue collar workers. That changes when he meets Joseph Brant, a full-blooded Mohawk ironworker who isn’t what he seems, and won’t take “no” for an answer. – Synopsis from TorquerePress.com
Skywalker by Kiernan Kelly
Review by Jasmine
4.95/5 Whips in the Backseat
Skywalker by Kiernan Kelly is a great short read. And by short I mean a compact 28 pages. What amazes me is when authors, and I include Kiernan Kelly among them, are able to give you a complete story in so few words. It is skill that is missing in a number of the short Romances I have read that I walked away wanting more. With this story I was quickly drawn into the Romance and the characters.
Joseph and Robert work the “Opposites Attract” angle, facing a white collar, blue collar misconceptions after meeting in a bar. Sometimes you wonder as a reader what made these two characters approach each other almost at first site across a room. In this case there was no doubt, it just worked and their interaction was engagingly believable.
It is a great short read and one I will definitely be revisiting it in the future. I am a notorious re-reader. So if you read M/M this is a great one to add to your TBR List. It was one of those reads where I was looking at the page count cause I just did not want the book to end.
Many of us have been in bad or unhealthy relationships. Sometimes, even long after the relationship is over, there is still “stuff” that seems to bind us to the person we are no longer involved with. This story begins with a perhaps Wiccan or Pagan ritual of “cutting” the ties that keep us bound and often unable to move on.
I guess I am a bit of a traditionalist when I am reading a romance. I want the hero and heroine to live happily ever after. I was kind of left wondering, “what now?”. Do they end up together, or is there one more bondage scene and then they call it a day?
So with that said, here is a three part point scale:Hotness–5 out of 5; Story–4.5 out of 5; Romance–3.5 out of 5, for an average of 4.3 out of 5.
Blood and Roses by Aislinn Kerry
Samhain Publishing
ISBN: 978-1-60504-825-3
Synopsis – Taken from http://www.aislinnkerry.com/
The last thing Arjen wants is a vampire in his bed, despite the rest of the world’s obsession with the creatures. Unfortunately, his reticence is precisely what attracts Maikel van Triet to him. After hundreds of years of being adored because of what he is, Maikel is enthralled by Arjen’s apathy.
What starts as a simple arrangement soon becomes something more than either of them expected. But vampires are shallow, fickle creatures, and Maikel could never truly love another. Could he?
Blood and Roses Review by Terry Kate
5/5 Whips – If it was possible I would have said 6/5!
Did I love this story? Hell yes! I have re-read it a dozen times. I read the excerpt and was so interested I could not wait to get a review copy, so I bought it. I PAID MONEY FOR THIS BOOK. I have not bought a book in almost a year. So yes I read the excerpt and I was desperate.
This is a M/M romance between a vampire and a prostitute and it is one of the most captivating stories I have read. Why these two? They are who they are – no, I was molested and wanted financial security so I became a prostitute. There was no – my family was massacred and I am all alone and a vampire, so that is why I am tired of the world. Maikel and Arjen move forward from where they are as Aislinn skillfully weaves her tale and how these two men come together is gut wrenching.
Read it – Buy it – Adore it, I have never said that and might not again. http://www.aislinnkerry.com/blood-and-roses.html so here is a direct link to the book on Aislinn’s site. Check out her books, and more about her – read her interview HERE in the Backseat. Don’t miss further reviews of Aislinn Kerry’s books here.
I really enjoyed this book, I couldn’t put it down, I read it all in a couple of hours. It has a sexy charismatic vampire prince, a sassy sarcastic heroine who doesn’t just bow down to the prince’s every whim, a villain who is heartless and childish at times, and a good cast of supporting characters in the elves.
The basic storyline is a vampire prince who is looking for his one true love (who just so happened to be human for royalty in his dimension). He has a book made that magically calls his true love to him. I love the situations that arise between the characters because of this interdimensional magical relationship (such as the naughtiness in a laundromat). There is teasing banter and sarcastic humor throughout the story which keeps you reading to see what will happen next. If all of Amarinda Jones’ books are like this one I will have to make sure and add them to my library as they would be an awesome addition.
The only thing I didn’t like was it wasn’t long enough, the end battle seemed a little too fast and could have been drawn out more to prolong the suspense, but over all it was an awesome book that I will be keeping in my library for years to come.
